Hi, my name is Silje! I'm a lifestyle, portrait and interior photographer! I began my training as a photographer at the age of 17, and photography has been my life ever since. After early years in Bremen and Hamburg - working in photography and post-production for agencies and photographers - I moved to Berlin in 2007 and started focusing on my own work in 2010.
Since then, I’ve been creating home stories and editorial features for magazines like HÄUSER, COUCH, EMOTION and FEMTASTICS, as well as commercial work for brands including AIDA CRUISES, AUDI, AMAZON and LUFTHANSA.
In 2021 I moved to Barcelona. Today I live and work between my three favourite cities: Barcelona, Berlin and Hamburg.
What I love most about photography is its variety - every shoot is different, every story unique. Meeting people, exploring places and creating images with good energy on set is what inspires me most.
If you describe me in three words, these would definitely be one of them: positive, empathetic, passionate. I am very enthusiastic about yoga, travelling, food and music. Star sign: Aries, ascendant Scorpio.
